A Simple Step-by-Step Guide to Joining Epping ELC
Choosing the right childcare centre is an exciting step for your family! At Epping Early Learning, we believe in providing premium early education tailored to each child’s unique learning journey. We’ve made the enrolment process simple and stress-free. Follow these easy steps to secure your child’s place at Epping Early Learning. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way.
1. Book a Tour
Visiting a centre in person is the best way to see if it’s the right fit for you and your family. Our friendly team will guide you through the process and answer any questions you have.
On the tour, meet our expert Educators, explore our engaging learning spaces and learn about our program and daily routines.
2. Understand the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) helps make premium childcare more affordable by reducing out-of-pocket costs for eligible families.
Check your eligibility through Services Australia
Apply for CCS through MyGov
Provide your centre with your CRN (Customer Reference Number) and your child’s CRN during enrolment
Tip: Start your CCS application early—approvals can take up to six weeks. Having it in place before your child’s first day ensures a smooth transition with no unexpected costs.
3. Gather Your Enrolment Information
- Your child’s birth certificate or passport
- Medicare details
- Immunisation History Statement (via MyGov or Medicare)
- Emergency contact details
- Any medical information (allergies, special requirements)
- $100 non-refundable admin fee
4. Secure Your Spot on the Waitlist (if needed)
If we are currently full, we can place you on a waitlist and keep you updated on availability. If your child is yet to turn 2 years old and you’re planning on enrolling them with us, we highly recommend that you secure a place for them on our waitlist.
How to stay informed:
- Join the waitlist by filling out a form or speaking with the Centre Manager.
- Stay in touch with our Team for updates. A quick call each month lets us know you’re still interested!
- Consider being flexible with your preferred enrolment days or start date to improve your chances of securing a spot.
5. Confirm Your Enrolment & Prepare for the First Day
- Review our Family Handbook for key information on policies, routine, and what to expect.
- Receive a welcome pack with details about your child’s start date.
- Work with our Educators on a settling-in plan to help your child transition smoothly.
Tip: Pack these essentials for your child’s first day:
- Labeled water bottle
- Spare clothing
- Pull-ups (if needed)
- Comfort item (if needed)
- Extra undies, socks and shoes (if toilet training)
